I said it, the Love Is Blind producers need to stop cutting out the most crucial scenes

I’m sick of missing the moment everything goes down!

Love Is Blind viewers are all saying the same thing about the show’s huge flaw, which is the tendency of the producers to miss out on filming all the drama. The cameras never seem to be rolling when it’s all kicking off between the couples, and people are starting to notice.

We’ve already missed three huge moments that went down between the couples in Love Is Blind season seven, which were Brittany and Leo’s breakup, Tyler revealing he has kids, and Monica finding Stephen’s cheating messages.

Brittany and Leo were a huge part of the first five episodes and the decision to scrap them seemed very strange, and made people think there was more to the story than we were being shown. Brittany and Leo’s relationship was left on a cliffhanger and it seemed like there was going to be such a juicy spill, but we were simply left with a disclaimer that they were not one of the six couples chosen by the producers to continue their journey to Mexico.

Seriously, why am I paying £10.99 a month for Netflix for them to not be filming when all the drama goes down? Everyone on Twitter agrees.

Monica actually spoke about having to call the cameras to come after she found out about the “dirty kinks” text cheating scandal. She told Entertainment Weekly she wanted to make sure their breakup was caught on camera, because she didn’t want to give Stephen a chance to act like it didn’t happen. “I just knew in that moment I was so disgusted and shocked that I needed him to be away from me,” she said. I actually cringe at the thought of them sat there in silence waiting for the crew to turn up so they can film their argument.

The Love Is Blind creator, Chris Coelen, has defended his decision to keep filming light on the show, despite the producers missing out on the juicy drama. “This is not Big Brother,” he said. “We are documenting people living their real lives. We do not have cameras following them 24/7, you know.”

This season isn’t the only time we’ve missed out because the cameras weren’t rolling. In season one of Love Is Blind UK, we didn’t get to see Sam and Nicole’s breakup which was a huge part of the show. Actual whole breakups have taken place when nobody was catching it on camera. I guess Love Is Blind is an immersive experience for the audience too.
