Love Is Blind couple QUIT show after cheating ‘dirty kinks’ texts to another woman exposed

Love Is Blind season seven all seemed to be smooth sailing until today, but that all fell apart when Stephen exposed he was cheating on his fiancée Monica with another woman over text. Monica accused him of planning to cheat after she read very explicit text messages in a conversation with another woman.

In episode eight, Dirty Laundry, Stephen told Monica about some text messages he had been sending to another woman the night before and in the morning. Monica, as expected, did not take the news well. The two were firstly having a nice conversation on the couch in the co-habitation part of the experiment, but less than five minutes later, everything had changed. Monica was firstly pictured crying with Taylor in their apartment, with Taylor telling Monica “I’m so sorry this happened to you,” and “It’s f***ing evil” with Stephen in earshot.

Stephen told Monica that he was doing a sleep test the night before, but explicit messages were on his phone from that night and the morning after. When Monica confronted him the “disgusting” messages “filled with “fetishes and c**ing,” he simply said “you’re right,” and basically gave up arguing.

Monica demanded he explain himself, but he said “I don’t think there’s anything I could say that you would believe.” He also told her that he “didn’t pretend anything” but she was quick to reply with “you pretended you wanted to get married.”

Stephen admitted that he “made a completely stupid mistake while being drunk at a sleep test with somebody who texted me,” but Monica called him out, saying that “you were doing it today, Stephen. You texted her today.”

Stephen claimed he didn’t “remember” texting her today, but the messages were mysteriously deleted, so Monica couldn’t confirm her accusation.

After the argument, there wasn’t much left for Stephen to say, other than to tell Monica that he was “truly sorry” and would be  leaving the show. She called him “f***ing selfish” as he packed up his things and left.

Although, according to Taylor, this news shouldn’t come out of the blue. In the episode, Taylor also told Monica she found it “weird” when Stephen had told her at the couples’ party that “in a year, a bunch of women [will be] in my DMs wanting to suck my d**k.” I’m sorry what?!

The news Stephen exposed comes as a huge plot twist as the two seemed to be one of the strongest Love Is Blind couples, and most would agree they should have made it to the altar. Of course they had their faults, but they really seemed as though their chemistry was enough to see them through.
