Eve has had a huge transformation: Here’s what her life was like before MAFS UK 2024

We may only be days into the new series of MAFS UK, but already 2024 cast members Eve and Charlie are causing a stir. The pair have just got married, but drama kicked off when they jetted away for what should have been a romantic honeymoon.

Before going on the show, Eve spoke of how she’d only had one serious relationship, and was now ready to find the one. We haven’t seen much of what Eve likes to get up to in her spare time during the experiment, but a bit of digging shows she has a whole other life outside of marrying a stranger on TV.

So here is what life was like for Eve Reid before MAFS UK 2024, and the huge transformation she’s had before the show.

31-year-old Eve is from Omagh, Co Tyrone, Northern Ireland. She has worked as a fitness instructor and lifeguard, and from her Instagram it’s clear the gym is a big part of her life.

Eve used to be a bodybuilder, and has shared pictures of her competing on Instagram. In one post, speaking of her experience, Eve said: “I just absolutely love looking at pictures from stage and feeling proud!! Been a long year…. Been an absolutely super one though. One of my best so far…. Maybe my best and we are only half way through!!

“The stage journey is one I always though about all the negatives but never thought about all the positive things to come from in… I’ve met so many great girls along that road and some have become my closest friends…. I’ve got stronger mentally, physically and emotionally. If I have any advice it would be go and find something you love and give it your best shot because you really do get back what you give and I’ve realised this stage game makes me so happy and I never want to have a year I don’t put my foot on stage…. Despite them desperate heels.”

Eve’s first relationship was with a man, but aged 26 she realised she was queer. This was her only significant relationship, and Eve has now been single for two years.

Also from her Instagram, you can get a good insight into more of what Eve’s life was like before MAFS UK 2024. She clearly has a very close bond with her sister, and shares a lot of photos of them hanging out. Eve is very outdoorsy, spending her free time doing mountain hikes and beachside walks.

Eve very much so likes a night out with pals, and has shared pics out on the town in Belfast, and drinking Guinness in the pub. Love that for her.

Now, Eve has said she’s hoping to find her ‘happily ever after’ on MAFS UK 2024

Speaking before the show, Eve spoke about why she wanted to take part in MAFS UK. “The reason I’m doing this is to finally find love,” she said. “The best thing that could happen is to live happily ever after.”

However, people have already noted that Eve’s socials drop a couple of clear hints that things may not have worked out between her and Charlie during the experiment. I guess, we’ll just have to wait and see!
