Revealed: Out of the MAFS UK 2024 cast, four have appeared on reality TV before

In a truly shocking turn of events, four cast members from MAFS UK 2024 have already appeared on reality TV before. Yep, despite saying they’re *finally* ready to pack everything in for their quest for true love, it seems as though this bunch are reality TV veterans.

We’ve been here before, just last year a whole bunch of the cast members were no strangers to TV, and it all in all makes it feel as though Channel 4 cherry-picks the brides and grooms from a pool of wannabe TV stars, instead of those who are invested in the experiment.

Anyway, we’re here. The four cast members from MAFS UK 2024 who have already appeared on reality TV before are: Lacey, Sacha, Charlie and Alex.

Sacha on Beauty School Cop Outs, via MTV

Let’s start with Sacha and Lacey, because they’ve not been on TV before just once, but twice! Sacha Jones was in the 2022 UK reboot of Beauty and The Geek, and before this Beauty School Cop Outs in 2013. On Sacha’s IMDb page, it is revealed she appeared in eight episodes of Beauty School Cop Outs and five episodes of Beauty and The Geek.

Lacey Martin has also appeared on two TV shows before MAFS. Her first appearance was an episode of Dress To Impress, after her twin sister Paige signed up to the show four years ago. Lacey appeared alongside her sister, and their episode was part of the show’s second series.

As well as this, Lacey appeared on Fred’s Last Resort with Fred Sirieix, a show where he immersed 12 young Brits in the challenging world of luxury hospitality.

Charlie Curtis is another cast member who found (slight) fame before MAFS, and not to flex, appeared next to Lindsay Lohan on Amazon’s Lovestruck High. In 2022, Charlie starred in eight episodes of the show presented by Lindsay Lohan, in which 15 UK singles headed to a typical American High School in an attempt to find romance. Honestly, they’ll throw anything together and call it a dating show these days.

Finally, and so far the only groom to have a secret reality TV past exposed, Alex Henry has also tried his hand before. Last year, he participated in another Channel 4 dating reality show, Let’s Make a Love Scene, but it’s been reported the episode he appeared in was never aired, after allegations of abuse from his former partner were reported to the show’s producer.
