All the Love Is Blind UK cast members’ desperate attempts at fame before the show

Despite creators of the show coming out and saying they make an active attempt to not cast influencers or anyone who just wants to be famous, a number of the Love Is Blind UK cast members have made attempts at fame before. It’s become pretty clear this isn’t the first reality TV show rodeo for a few of the cast members, so are they really on the look for love?

From awful music videos to game shows and reality shows, this bunch are quite seasoned with putting their lives on screen for all to see. So, here’s a rundown of all the Love Is Blind UK season one cast members who have been on TV before, or have made attempts at fame before Netflix.

Nicole was on Come Dine With Me

It turns out Love Is Blind UK star Nicole Stevens was on Come Dine With Me before she took to the pods, and her dinner party was interesting to say the least. She took part three years before her Love Is Blind UK stint, and hosted guests in Basingstoke. At the time of filming, hopeful cooks were hosting their guests in a large home provided by the show, instead of them travelling to each other’s houses, due to the pandemic. Her episodes of Come Dine With Me first aired in August 2021.

Hers was the first night of the week, and Nicole sat around the huge table with her dinner party guests, and served them up curried lamb. After the main course, Nicole told her guests she was in a band when she was 15, alongside her maths teachers from school. A bit odd, but sure. She then began to belt out a rendition of Whitney Houston’s I Will Always Love You as her entertainment.

It might have looked like she did ok on her night, but it looks like her guests were just being polite to her face. Nicole ended up coming in fourth place out of five.

Bobby’s awful music video

During the show, Jasmine and Bobby had a pretty awkward exchange, where she said she had come across a music video he made, when she put his name in on YouTube.

The video, which Bobby said was made a number of years ago, is on YouTube still, and plastered all over this Instagram. Jasmine explained that because of how he is with the women in the video, it made her a bit uncomfortable.

The video is for Bobby’s own song, called Body Of A Dancer. It includes him parading about in the sea and looking into the camera as he belts out the lyrics, as well as him on a jet ski with a woman, and splashing around in the water with a couple of women.

Nothing screams wanting to be famous more than actually impersonating a celebrity. Bobby has worked as a Lewis Hamilton lookalike, and his profile is still up on a lookalikes website, so you can get a quote to book him for events.

Bobby was also on a game show where he won £31k!

Bobby really has tried his luck over the years, as three years ago he appeared on gameshow Moneyball. Back in November 2021 he appeared on the show, hosted by Ian Wright, and the host made a joke about him looking like Lewis Hamilton. It seems Bobby was trying to shoe-horn in his attempts at fame at any chance, as he also told the host he works as a rapper. Sure.

On the show, each contestant has to navigate their way through questions and a correct answer earns them a ball which they then roll onto The Launcher machine – hoping to win some money. Bobby did pretty well on the show, and walked home with an impressive £31k.

Cat was on Ibiza Weekender!

In 2019, Cat was on reality show Ibiza Weekender, where she partied it up at the holiday destination. There was an awkward reason why Cat’s time on the show was particularly dramatic – because she was branded the “psycho ex girlfriend” of rep, Callum Izzard.

Callum explained to the other show reps that he had hooked up with guest Catherine before he flew out to film the series. It seemed as though Cat was hoping to win him back, but Callum was more interested in his fellow rep, Chloe. TikTok has done its thing, and found a clip of Cat on the show, just as she was heading on a date with a fellow guest.

Freddie was a naked butler, and was apparently on Real Housewives?!

Freddie has loved getting his body out on Love Is Blind UK, which he’s very much used to, because ahead of the show he worked as a naked butler! There are pictures of him in the role on his Instagram, and according to some viewers in a Facebook group, they recalled seeing him working in the buff on The Real Housewives of Cheshire.
