Love Is Blind UK’s Nicole was on Come Dine With Me before Netflix, and sang for her guests

So it turns out Love Is Blind UK star Nicole Stevens was on Come Dine With Me before she took to the pods, and her dinner party was interesting to say the least. She’s been one of the stand out contestants on Love Is Blind, but this isn’t her first reality TV rodeo.

Nicole went on Come Dine With Me during the height of pandemic filming, but despite not being able to get as close to her guests, she certainly left an impression.

Nicole took part on Come Dine With Me three years before her Love Is Blind UK stint, and hosted guests in Basingstoke. At the time of filming, hopeful cooks were hosting their guests in a large home provided by the show, instead of them travelling to each other’s houses. Her episodes of Come Dine With Me first aired in August 2021.

Hers was the first night of the week, and Nicole sat around the huge table with her dinner party guests, and served them up curried lamb. Her food went down pretty well, but the entertainment was a bit… strange?

After the main course, Nicole told her guests she was in a band when she was 15, alongside her maths teachers from school. A bit odd, but sure. She then began to belt out a rendition of Whitney Houston’s I Will Always Love You, and I’ll be nice and just say it was a bit lacking.

I mean, it was alright, and her guests seemed to be lapping it up, and that’s all that really matters. “You killed that, I was not expecting that of you,” one of her guests said.

It might have looked like she did ok on her night, but it looks like her guests were just being polite to her face. Nicole ended up coming in fourth place out of five. After the result, Nicole said: “I gave it my best shot, at least I’m not Adam [who came last].”
