Regé-Jean Page quit Bridgerton to pursue other things, so what has he actually been up to?

No Duke… for this?

Every single Bridgerton fan shed a tear after season one when it was announced The Duke himself was leaving the show. There was a lot of drama surrounding his exit, and rumours being thrown around about arguments with production, but the actor himself just simply said he was moving onto other work projects. So, what has Regé-Jean Page been up to since Bridgerton?

Announcing his exit, Regé-Jean Page said: “Pleasure and a privilege! An honour to be a member of the family – on and off screen, cast, crew and incredible fans – the love is real and will just keep growing.” Sharing a further explanation of his exit, he added: “It’s a one-season arc. It’s going to have a beginning, middle, end—give us a year.”

Here is a rundown of everything Regé-Jean Page has been up to since he quit the cast of Bridgerton and left the Duke of Hastings behind him.

Since Bridgerton, Regé-Jean Page has been in Dungeons and Dragons and Netflix film The Gray Man

After Bridgerton, Regé continued his career in acting. In 2022, he appeared in Netflix’s film The Gray Man, as villain Denny Carmichael. The film is one of the most expensive titles Netflix has ever made. Despite its huge price tag, the film still got mixed reviews – IndieWire described Page as “miserable in the role of a gallingly basic villain”. Yikes.

In 2023, he played Xenk in the fantasy film Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among ThievesThe reception for this was much better, and the film went on to be nominated for a number of awards.

He also joined the star-studded audio cast for The Sandman: Act II on Audible as Orpheus. Oh, and never forget, he did an episode of CBeebies Bedtime Stories (definitely for the mums).

Regé-Jean Page also has some roles coming up – he is set to play the lead role of Simon Templar in The Saint, based in part on Leslie Charteris’ 1920s book series and subsequent 1960s UK TV series.
