Dive into the vibey Instagrams of the Below Deck Mediterranean season eight crew
Tumi is back!!!
The latest season of Below Deck Mediterranean has dropped and the cast are just as amazing as ever. Whilst sailing the high seas, the crew go through drama, romances and have to deal with some more than unpleasant charter guests. The cast are constantly referring to the end of the charter and what they’re going to be doing after the season finishes, but when you’re watching their yachting lives unfold on the screen it can be hard to imagine them having a life outside of the boat.
Season eight sees many familiar faces returning with Tumi, Natalya, Kyle and Luka all a part of the crew and I for one cannot wait to have another whole season of Kyle and Natalya sibling-type relationship full of rivalry and squabbles. This rest of this season’s crew are a real mixed bag with crew members coming from all over the world including the UK, Australia, Hawaii, and South Africa. The international crew are very good at showing off their travels on their Instagrams and making all their followers jealous of their lavish getaways.
The majority of the crew members are on Instagram, except for deckie Haleigh Gorman who does not have a public account, where they regularly share selfies and a bunch of enviable photos from their travels. These are all the Instagrams of the Below Deck Mediterranean season eight cast you need to be following:
Sandy Yawn – Captain

Our beloved Captain Sandy is back for yet another season and what would the show even be without her? Sandy, who is originally from the US, has the largest Instagram following out of this seasons crew at 688,00 followers – that is more than all other crew members followings combined.

Fan favourite Tumi is back and has sailed the seven seas over to Europe from Below Deck Under to join the Mediterranean spin off of the show, this time as chief stew.
Tumi has gained loads of followers from the 3,000 she had when she first joined the Below Deck franchise with the app actually playing a big role in the stew getting her first job on a yacht after she shared pictures of her table settings. Aside from table settings Tumi posts fun pictures with her friends and family, fit checks and travel photos.

The stew team this season will be four people strong as third stew Jessika is joining the team. Jessika is originally from Hawaii and has been in yachting for four years but is new to the show. On her Instagram, Jessika shares gorgeous photos from her island lifestyle to her 12,000 followers.
Jack Luby – Chef

No season of Below Deck would be complete without a British chef and Chef Jack, who has the least amount of followers out of the Below Deck Mediterranean season eight crew’s Instagrams, is brand new to the show this season. In classic chef fashion, Jack posts a lot of cooking photos and videos to his Instagram. Hailing originally from Liverpool, Jack is now based in Bali and refers to himself as “the kitchen wizard”.
Ruan Irving – Bosun

Another Below Deck Mediterranean newbie is South African Ruan who has worked in the industry for over 10 years. When he’s not on boats, Ruan spends his time spear fishing, boxing, spending time with his girlfriend and putting together fits, all of which he shares with his 23,000 strong followers.
Luka Brunton – Lead deckhand

Like Tumi, originally from Below Deck Down Under and now joining the cast of Mediterranean is Lead deckie and Aesha’s best mate, Luka. Luka was only in a handful of episodes of season two of Down Under after deckie Adam Kodra was fired but he’s now been given his time to shine by joining the motor yacht Mustique crew from the start.
Luke currently has 36,000 followers on Instagram and regularly shares photos from his travel lifestyle that he is able to sustain thanks to his yachting career.
Lara Du Preez – Deckhand
