Guys, Sex Education is back on Netflix for its final ever season TOMORROW!

I’m equal parts excited it’s back and heartbroken it’s over

Season four of Sex Education is finally being released on Netflix, after what feels like a million years of waiting. And whilst I can’t control my excitement that the show is back, it also means we’re going to have to come to terms with it ending, as this season has been confirmed as the last one ever.

The sex and the chaos is back, and this season looks as though it’s going to be full of all types of emotions. Season four sees our fav cast settle into the progressive Cavendish Sixth Form College, and with this, comes a whole host of new dramas.

Maeve and Otis have been split up as she’s studying in America, and he’s clearly struggling with not knowing if she’s coming back. Plus, he’s also trying to navigate being friends with Ruby now, and Jean has a baby! On top of all this, there’s a new sex therapist in town and loads of new relationships cracking on.

The official Netflix synopsis gives a rundown of what to expect, it reads: “Following the closure of Moordale Secondary, Otis and Eric now face a new frontier – their first day at Cavendish Sixth Form College. Otis is nervous about setting up his new clinic, whilst Eric is praying they won’t be losers again.

“But Cavendish is a culture shock for all the Moordale students – they thought they were progressive but this new college is another level. There’s daily yoga in the communal garden, a strong sustainability vibe and a group of kids who are popular for being… kind?! Viv is totally thrown by the college’s student-led, non-competitive approach, while Jackson is still struggling to get over Cal.”

It continues: “Aimee tries something new by taking an Art A-Level and Adam grapples with whether mainstream education is for him. Over in the US, Maeve is living her dream at prestigious Wallace University, being taught by cult author Thomas Molloy. Otis is pining after her, whilst adjusting to not being an only child at home, or the only therapist on campus…”

There are eight episodes in season four, all dropping on September 21st. Then, Sex Education is officially over!
