Chloe Burrows says her split from Toby was ‘the worst thing’ she’s been through

‘I wouldn’t do that again’

Love Island’s Chloe Burrows has opened up about her split from Toby Aromolaran, something that has led her to want to keep her romantic life out of the public eye.

Chloe and Toby were the Love Island runners-up in 2021 and after a year together, the pair called it quits.

Speaking to OK! Magazine, Chloe said going through a public breakup was “literally the worst thing I have been through”.

“I wouldn’t do that again. If I didn’t post anything about the two of us for like three days, I was hounded,” she explained.

“I felt pressure to keep everyone updated. If I hadn’t had that pressure it would have been a lot more smooth sailing I reckon.”

Toby previously said his split from Chloe “wasn’t a hard decision”. “Once you’re having serious core problems, really and truly it’s done, isn’t it,” he said.

“It’s one of those ones, because it’s my relationship I don’t want to say what those issues were. I haven’t really said it out loud to anyone really and truly, it’s almost like I’m running from it. I run from it.”

Chloe is set to appear on Celebs Go Dating, alongside fellow ex-Islander, Adam Collard. The former Islander is hoping the show will be “really fun”.

“I know a lot of people who have done it and they say it’s good,” she told OK! Magazine. “I know Olivia Attwood. I’ve done my research. I think it will be really fun.”
