It’s already happened! The first tragic spon con post from the cast of Love Island 2023 has dropped, and I have to say, it’s pretty classique.

Within days of being dumped from the villa, new couple Kady McDermott and Ouzy See were securing the bag together, as they posed for an advert on Instagram. They’ve done a deal with Subway, and were pictured clutching their sandwiches with the biggest smiles on their faces. You have to respect the commitment to the grind.

Kady posted a picture of herself and Ouzy stood in front of a Subway truck, with the caption: “I’ve had a great day at the Subway®️ Series Roadshow!!! I tried the Tex Mexan – it was delish! Series gets my vote, I’m a pointer! 😂”

Someone in the comments pointed out this is the first picture we’ve seen on the grid of them since the villa, but instead of cute loved-up selfie, it’s an advert. “This has gotta be fake, first picture as a couple on the outside and it’s an ad for Subway,” they said. Someone else commented on them being a power couple making cash together, and said: “Couple getting the bag together 🫶🏽”. Nothing but respect here.

Ouzy shared a second photo from the day, of just himself with the food truck. He said: “Got myself down to day one of the ‘Which way will you Subway®️?’ roadshow! The new Series Menu Baller Sub gets my vote!! DELICIOUS! I’m now a POINTER not a PICKER!! 😂😂😂”

In recent years, Subway seems to have had the Islanders in a chokehold. A whole bunch of the 2022 Islanders left the villa and within days were posing with footlongs, and Olivia from the winter series even did a sponsored post with the food chain on her actual birthday. Her post included her posing on a bed with a Subway breakfast sandwich as a whole crew of people took pictures of her.
