Married at First Sight UK’s Amy Christophers says her time on the show was ‘detrimental’

Married at First Sight UK star Amy Christophers has slammed the Channel 4 experiment, calling it “detrimental” and said she had some of her worst days on the show.

Amy appeared on MAFS UK in 2021 and was matched with Joshua Christie before their relationship eventually came to an end after the cameras stopped rolling.

The former MAFS UK bride has since told Metro her time on the experiment was “detrimental” and a lot of the show was taken out of context.

She said: “Some things did get taken out of context on that show, like they just showed me moaning a lot but they didn’t show why I was moaning, like Josh winding me up for an hour.”

Former MAFS UK bride Amy claimed that after her appearance on the show, Josh didn’t want to see her. “I thought I’d found everything I ever wanted in Josh, and it has been hard getting over that, especially when you get no closure, because even on that sofa, I don’t get any closure during the reunion.”
