Apparently Rupert told Evelyn and Duncan he saw their relationship coming after MAFS Australia

Married at First Sight Australia stars Evelyn and Duncan made everyone’s day when they confirmed their relationship. The new couple met during the experiment and forged a connection after their pairings didn’t work out during the show.

Rupert, who was matched with Evelyn on MAFS Australia, apparently told the new couple he saw their relationship coming and gave them his blessing. Does it get more wholesome than that?

Speaking on Fitzy & Wippa with Kate Ritchie, Evelyn said: “Me and Rupert actually talk quite regularly. We have like a fun banter between us. We’ve been a support system for each other throughout the show, pepping each other up [and] laughing.

“As soon as I kind of saw where the situation was going, we both reached out and kind of gave him the heads up and I think he said he saw it coming.”

MAFS Australia groom Rupert is happy for Evelyn and Duncan and the groom is still really close with Duncan. When asked if Rupert was angry about the relationship, Duncan said: “Not not at all, he [Rupert] is one of my closest guy mates from the show.”

When they announced their relationship, Duncan said Rupert was “very supportive” of their relationship and they “obviously” got his blessing.

Alyssa hasn’t spoken too publicly about the relationship news but did reply to someone in an Instagram comment and wrote: “Rip”. Awkward!
