She’s actually here! Say hello to Ellie, the 25-year-old finally heading into the villa

Guys! Call off the search party – Ellie has finally joined Love Island 2023. Ellie was teased as a potential bombshell right back on the first day of the show this year, when we had to chose between either her or Tom. But now, she’s getting her chance!

It’s only right Ellie gets her time in the villa. There was basically an uproar on Twitter over the idea of her doing a full photoshoot and interview with Love Island, and then not getting chosen. This feels like some sort of justice served. So, here’s everything you need to know about Ellie Spence.

New Love Island 2023 bombshell Ellie is 25, and from Norwich

Ellie Spence is 25 and from Norwich. She currently works as a business development executive at a law firm. When asked why she wanted to be on Love Island, Ellie said: “I’ve been single for three years and the roster is pretty dry, it’s been dry for the last year, I don’t know what happened, it’s just not been a great time for me so I’m ready to find my husband.”

Ellie thinks she’ll bring drama and a good time to the Love Island 2023 villa

Ellie described herself as “fun, caring, smart” and said she knows how to have a good time. “I feel like I’m the whole package; I’m flirty, forward and very confident,” she said. She said she will bring “drama, fun and a bit of unpredictability” to the villa.

When asked how her friends and family would describe her, Ellie said: “Super caring and kind but also a little bit of a liability, but in a fun way. You know when you have the mums of the group when you go out? I’m the one swinging on the chandelier refusing to go home. I’m definitely a good time girl.”

Important questions only: When asked what gives her the ick, Ellie said it’s “overconfident guys and men that think they can get any girl when they think they are so fit and a 10/10 when in actual fact they are none of the above.” Fair point, well made. She added she likes “confidence but not arrogance”.

‘I could fall in love with a chair’

“I’m single because I fall in love really quick, but I fall out of it just as quickly,” Ellie said. “I could literally fall in love with a chair and then a week later be like, ‘Oh wait, no, that’s a chair…’ I fall in love quickly because I build up a character of someone in my head and then they breathe in the wrong direction and I’m like, ‘Next!’”

An interesting story about Ellie? She once almost lost her leg

Ok so Ellie was asked something interesting that people won’t know about her, and she just casually said she once nearly lost a leg? “When I was drunk I climbed over the gates of my friend’s house, fell and almost lost my leg,” she said. “I was in hospital for two weeks but they stitched me back up. It left me with a big scar on my leg but I’m so blasé about it, if I’m in a bikini you can’t not see it.”

Ahead of appearing on Love Island, Ellie has 6.6k followers on Instagram

Now she’s in the villa, Ellie’s Instagram will be dormant. But ahead of her time on the show she had 6.6k followers – which may have increased after her being teased as a potential bombshell previously. Her Instagram is wall to wall vibes – she has incredible outfit pics and selfies. Her handle is @elliespennie, which is a bit iconic too. Can we be mates?
