This is where all the Made in Chelsea cast went to uni

The Made in Chelsea cast are all stinking rich. They’re all quite good looking too. But did you know, the cast of MIC are all actually really smart as well? Yep, they have it all – brains, beauty and a load of cash.

We love to sit down every Monday and watch them all living their best lives, but have you ever wondered what the cast members did before their MIC careers? This is where all the Made in Chelsea stars went to university.

Made in Chelsea universities:

Jamie Laing

Studied at: University of Leeds

Jamie studied Theatre and Performance from 2008-2010. He told the Evening Standard: “The reason I went to Leeds was because I’d fallen in love with a girl and followed her there.”

Alex Mytton

Studied at: Oxford Brookes

Mytton went to Brookes, obviously. Have you ever seen anyone more Brookes not books in your life? He achieved a 2:1 in History. “I went for a 2:1 and a good time,” I can hear him saying it now.

Victoria Baker-Harber

Studied at: UAL

Victoria studied at arty haven that is University of the Arts London. She then went on to Regent’s College, a fancy private uni in London.

Sophie ‘Habbs’ Habboo

Studied at: Newcastle University

Habbs studied Media, Communications and Cultural Studies in Newcastle. She told The Newcastle Tab: “What is not to love about Newcastle! Best three years ever. Jesmond was my favourite and the fact you couldn’t go a minute without bumping into someone you know! I miss Blanc Tuesdays and just being able to go to Waitrose in your pyjamas!” She described her uni experience as crazy, amazing and challenging.

Eliza Batten

Studied at: Durham University

Eliza Batten is now in her third year studying Anthropology at Durham University. She has an Instagram story highlight about her time at Durham University, which includes videos of her and her friends sledging through halls corridors, on nights out, having initiations and flat take-aways. She’s in Hatfield College and took part in the Durham University Charity Fashion Show, of course.

Sammy Allsop

Studied at: Durham University

Sammy studied Classics at Durham, where she met Eliza Batten. Sammy went to a different college to Eliza, studying at Collingwood College and graduated in summer. Sammy also modelled in the Durham fashion shows.

Angus Findlay

Studied at: Bournemouth University

Angus studied Television Production at Bournemouth University. He’s obviously loved student life, and has pictures of him at Purbeck Halls and Dorchester House halls on his Instagram.

Verity Bowditch

Studied at: King’s College London

Verity graduated from King’s in 2016 with a degree in Biomedical Science.

Rosi Mai Waldron

Studied at: The Courtauld Institute of Art, London

According to her Facebook profile, Rosi Mai studied History of Art at the very fancy Courtauld Institute of Art, London.

Amelia Mist

Studied at: Richmond University

James Taylor

Studied at: Regent’s University London

James Taylor studied Global Business Management from 2014-2018 and got a 2:1. He was awarded a polo scholarship which got him 15 per cent off his tuition fees – not that the rich af Made in Chelsea lot really need that. Regent’s only gives out two of those scholarships a year, so James must have shown he has more skills than just messing girls around.

His Insta feed is full of him posing around campus during his time there. If you went to one of the only five private universities in the UK you would though, wouldn’t you.

Miles Nazaire

Studied at: The Brits School

He graduated from the Brit School in 2014 with a degree in Broadcast Digital Communications. Stars such as Adele, Jessie J and Amy Winehouse all went to Brit School in London.

Oliver Proudlock

Studied at: Newcastle University

Proudlock studied Fine Art at Newcastle from 2006 to 2010.

Louise Thompson

Studied at: University of Edinburgh

Louise graduated with a BSc. Hons in Geography from Edinburgh in 2013.

Spencer Matthews

Studied at: University of Southern California, Los Angeles

Spencer Matthews only did nine months of uni, and that was studying film in LA.

Fredrik Ferrier

Studied at: University of Bristol

Fredrik studied Music and Languages and by the looks of this tweet, he got a 2:1.

Andy Jordan

Studied at: University of Leeds

Andy Jordan studied Geography at uni and graduated in 2012.

Ollie Locke

Studied at: Royal Agricultural College

Ollie only managed to complete a year of a property course at the Royal Agricultural College in Cirencester. He told The Mirror: “We’d go off-roading at night and shoot rabbits. I got quite good at it.”

Georgia Toffolo

Studied at: University of Westminster, London

Despite many thinking Toff is into politics, she actually did a Law degree at University of Westminster. 

Rosie Fortescue

Studied at: Goldsmiths, University of London

Rosie studied for a degree in History of Art from 2008 to 2011.

Frankie Gaff

Studied at: Bournemouth University

Frankie dropped out in her second year of Business Studies at Bournemouth after being offered a place on Made in Chelsea.

According to her LinkedIn page she was a member of the hockey, netball, athletics, advertising, fashion, marketing and wildlife conservation societies.

Caggie Dunlop

Studied at: University of Leeds

It was during her time studying Philosophy at Leeds that Caggie met Jamie Laing. However, according to the Standard she gave up on Leeds after a year to study acting at the Lee Strasberg Institute in New York.

Ryan Libbey

Studied at: Cardiff Met

Ryan did Sports Biomedicine and Nutrition and got a 2:1. Are you surprised?

Francis Boulle

Studied at: University of Edinburgh

Francis studied Philosophy and Economics from 2007 to 2010. He was a member of the polo society and the trading and investment club.

Francis also did a postgrad at Regent’s in London – the UK’s second private university. Fancy.

Mark Francis Vandelli

Studied at: UCL

Mark Francis got a degree in History of Art from University College London.

Hugo Taylor

Studied at: The Courtald Institute of Art

Hugo is another Made in Chelsea cast member that studied at The Courtald Institute of Art, based in Somerset House. Hugo achieved a degree from here in History of Art.
