The final episode of Beauty in Black season three is definitely eventful. It’s tricky to keep track of which characters are meant to be dead or alive. So, here’s a rundown of which Beauty in Black characters die, survive or are left unaccounted for in the season three finale. 

Charles doesn’t die

He attempts to take his life during season three of Beauty in Black. However, Varney comes to the rescue. Varney encourages Charles to get professional help. At the end of season three, their story is left on a more optimistic note (in comparison to the rest of the plot, anyway).

Is Roy meant to be dead?

He takes an unknown substance from another prison, has a bad reaction to it, and is rushed to hospital. His fate is left uncertain.

It’s not looking good for Horace or Norman Bellarie

We see Mallory shoot Norman, then Norman shoot Horace. Again, it’s not clear whether they’ll survive. (Or if the writers have decided yet what the plot of season four will be). We’ll just have to stay in suspense until then. Thanks, Netflix!

We don’t actually see Sylvie die on-screen. This led some viewers to theorise that maybe, just maybe, Sylvie is still alive.

However, I’m afraid Netflix’s resource Tudum states that Jules shoots Sylvie dead. Sorry.

Jules also kills Sylvie’s mother, and Frank.

Do Angel, Kimmie, Mallory or Varney die in the Beauty in Black finale?

We don’t know for certain what happens to this lot. Sorry. These major characters are all there for the big shootout at the club, but their fates are left ambiguous. Kimmie and Mallory are both gunned down, but we don’t see how injured they are.
