Kieran and Kristina’s messy relationship, a year after their gut-wrenching break-up on MAFS

Ah, Kieran and Kristina. The quirkiest MAFS UK 2024 couple made us believe in true love… then decided they were better off as friends. Here’s a deep dive into the complicated emotional mess that ensued between Kieran Chapman and Kristina Goodsell after MAFS UK, and where they are at now.

Kieran was gushing non-stop about how great Kristina was

Put a finger down if you also thought Kieran and Kristina would end up together after MAFS UK. They definitely seemed to have a lot of love for each other in the months following their official split.

Kristina and Kieran did plan to go to a festival together in the summer of 2024. However, the MAFS producers warned them the show’s story could be spoiled if they were spotted together.

While the show aired in autumn 2024, Kieran posted an essay in praise of Kristina pretty much daily. He called her “incredible” and “the best wife ever”. Apparently their MAFS wedding was “the most magic day” of his life. Kieran even composed a piece of music as a tribute to her.

Kristina gave up on being friends with Kieran

Alas, it was not to last. Kristina cut off her friendship with Kieran.

“Unfortunately we’re not friends,” Kristina told The Sun in January, “my perspective of a friendship and Kieran’s perspective of a friendship is very different. It has now been apparent since the first reunion.

“I treasure my friends and I need consistent friends, he unfortunately is not a consistent friend.” Ouch.

Kristina revealed they had stopped speaking altogether by February 2025.

Kieran has a new girlfriend already

Kieran did have a fleeting fling with Erica Roberts from MAFS UK 2023. Kristina found out about this during the multi-season MAFS reunion that aired in February 2025. We saw Kristina be pretty blasé about this on TV. However, Erica claimed a month later that Kristina behaved very differently off-camera.

Apparently, Kieran pulled Kristina aside during the dinner party and broke the news. Erica described on her now-deleted podcast: “She was angry, she was pissed. An organic response, but completely off-camera.”

Kieran and Erica Roberts aren’t together now. Their relationship never really went anyway.

Kieran went Instagram official in May with a new girlfriend. She’s 25, she’s called Nicole, and that’s pretty much all we know about her.

Kristina is living her best single life

Kristina has hinted she’s dated other people (but absolutely not Adam from MAFS UK 2024). After she and Adam were photographed together at the National Reality Television Awards in August, she denied they were together. “He’s an icky big brother. There’s nothing going on, I can promise you.” she told Heat. Kristina then added, “I’ve got other love interests that I’m more interested about than that.” This is all deeply mysterious.

She also shared she has no plans to have kids. During a Q&A session on Instagram this week, Kristina told a MAFS viewer: “I will not be having children. I’m opting for a full hysterectomy, at my last attempt to live a ‘regulated’ life. My life is wild (I have calmed down) but I live in the moment and a child just wouldn’t be right for me.”

Kristina is still besties with Emma Barnes from MAFS 2o24, by the way. Nawww.
