Yet another MAFS editing error with Grace and Ashley proves we’re missing parts of their story

People have spotted yet another editing error in a scene with Grace and Ashley on MAFS UK 2025. This further proves that parts of the couple’s story is being highly edited.

Just yesterday, it was noted there was an editing error in the friends and family episode with the couple. In a tense scene, Ashley’s mother and sister had dinner with him and Grace. But, it looked as though we saw a lot of the conversation in a different order to how it happened in real life.

This is because levels of wine in their glasses kept changing, and even the colour of the wine they were drinking changed part-way through the scene. So, there were clearly big lapses in time to what we saw, if they had completely moved on to a different bottle.

But, now people have spotted another error. Earlier in exactly the same episode, Grace and Ashley went to meet her best friends. As they sat down, Grace and Ashley had two drinks with straws in, then one straw disappeared, and then it came back again.

During this time, we heard Grace say: “I feel a bit emosh. I don’t know where to begin to try and fill them in on everything.” But clearly, these two sentences weren’t said straight after each other, as the level of drink has changed, and the straw completely disappeared and came back all in that time.

In fact, those two sentences were said at different times, and just sliced together in the final edit. So what was actually said in between?

It’s felt for a while as though we’re not getting the full story with Grace and Ashley and how their MAFS UK 2025 journey is going – and their editing could be why. The whole nail varnish and dress wearing saga felt like bits were being cut so it was confusing for us at home.

Grace has been quite open with calling out parts of how she’s looked on the show. “You barely see any of it… I trust the viewers will be alert and vigilant to this while watching,” she said of her edit.
