Everyone is now defending MAFS UK’s Sarah and blaming this for her ‘nasty’ behaviour

In the most unexpected turn of events, people are now defending MAFS UK’s Sarah, who was this series’ biggest villain for the way she’s treating Dean. Yes, really.

People have been calling out Sarah’s “nasty” behaviour from the start for commenting on Dean’s weight, and she was brutally grilled by the experts for being so “disrespectful” towards her husband.

The MAFS bride broke down in tears and showed a little bit of remorse for her actions, and now everyone has suddenly done a full 180 and is defending the 31-year-old. I know, I’m shocked too.

People are now blaming the producers for matching Sarah with someone so far away from her type that they practically set her up for failure. Are we all forgetting about the weight comments?

In a viral TikTok video, one person said: “So apparently the entire internet disagrees with me on this, but I do not think Sarah is the villain here. Yeah, the way she spoke about Dean behind his back with disrespectful, no excuses. And Paul was right to call her out on it. It was brutal, but it was fair. But you could see she was mortified.”

“For me, Sarah is not a bad person. She was anxious, trying to fit in, and just wanted some reassurance from the group. She went about it the wrong way, but for me it wasn’t malicious,” they added.

Everyone is agreeing in the comments, with one person writing “I agree, and I think Paul was too harsh” and another adding: “I agree with you. I feel really bad for her.”

“Yes finally someone else sees it. I’m sick of the witch hunt against her, she doesn’t fancy him because he’s overweight – she’s entitled to feel that way!” someone else said.

People are saying the fault “lays with the producers and experts” who have purposely matched her with someone that she isn’t attracted to.

“Saying you want different to your usual type is fine, but it still has to be within the parameters of what you’re attracted to physically – and they’ll have absolutely known about the larger man question prior.
