Where Caspar and Emma stand now, a year after their wild ride on MAFS UK

A whole year has passed since Caspar Todd and Emma Barnes got hitched on MAFS UK. Here’s a look at where they stand now. I’m afraid it’s not good news for those who shipped them.

Nope, Caspar and Emma from MAFS are no longer together, or even on speaking terms

At the MAFS UK reunion, Caspar and Emma seemed to have a lot of respect for each other. Some MAFS viewers got their hopes up that the couple might get back together.

In mid-November, Caspar shared he was still wearing the ring from his MAFS wedding to Emma. He hung it on a chain and wore it around his neck. He shared on Instagram: “It’s still on the exact same necklace as it was before. It’s still there next to my signet ring as it was six months ago, or whenever it was we filmed the reunion. It’s still going to be a really important part of my life, it’s a massive part of this year and I’m really hoping at least that it’s something really positive for me.”

I’m afraid that since then, Emma made it clear she’s no longer in contact with Caspar. Apparently, watching MAFS on TV really impacted their bond. She told Cosmo that they had “very few exchanges” while the show was airing, and now don’t speak at all. “Caspar has probably found it harder than I’ve found it, watching it back,” she explained.

Caspar didn’t want to return for that reunion that aired in February 2025. Emma claims she was then uninvited from the show.

She told Edinburgh News: “My dating life is atrocious. I had a date a couple of months ago where I went to the local pub. It was a first date and I had three people come up to me and ask me for photographs. It was awful.”

Apparently, these MAFS viewers waited until Emma’s date went to the loo, then interrogated her about how the night. “And I was thinking: ‘I don’t know if I want to tell three strangers how my first date is going because I haven’t quite processed it myself.'”

Emma is still pleased she signed up for MAFS, though. Her life is going great in other ways. She quit her job in sales so she’s have more time for creating content and living that #influencerlife.

Plus, she completed a triathlon and went on holiday to France. That sounds like a decent year.

Caspar literally got engaged five months after MAFS

Caspar moved on pretty quickly. In the same year as he filmed MAFS, he hard-launched a new girlfriend. The couple announced plans to move in together around the start of 2025. Five months and five days after MAFS UK 2024 finished airing, Caspar announced he was engaged.

He proposed marriage in a pub, while a choir sang shanties.

Caspar did take a sabbatical from his day job in 2024, but returned to his work as the head gardener at an estate in the New Forest.
