Drag Race winner Angeria calls out All Stars 10 for not mentioning her at all on The Pit Stop

It’s the first time a reigning winner’s step down look hasn’t got any praise

The previously current reigning winner of All Stars, Angeria Paris VanMichaels, has called out RuPaul’s Drag Race and its All Stars 10 iteration of The Pit Stop in a furious tweet after the recap show failed to mention her in any capacity. As is tradition, Angeria had returned to Drag Race in her step down look to present the latest winner with the crown and sceptre. Normally, the queen who returns is met with a load of love and discussion regarding the step down look – but Angeria has absolutely blasted the All Stars 10 Pit Stop after host Monét X Change and guest Alyssa Edwards didn’t mention or discuss her. At all.

Angeria is NOT happy

Angeria responded on Twitter after watching the episode of The Pit Stop for the All Stars 10 finale – where she made her grand return after winning All Stars 9.

Angeria wrote “Not acknowledging me at all on the finale Pit Stop episode is so crazy to me. The week before either, wow.”

This was discussed on Reddit, with differing opinions. One fan said “I don’t get the criticism for her being disappointed over not being acknowledged. The Pit Stop ALWAYS comments on the reigning queen’s step-down look, I think she has a right to be bothered by it.” Another agreed saying “Angeria looked amazing too! There was no shortage of beauty and ferocity to be discussed.”

Another said how the show probably did discuss it, but the editors of The Pit Stop didn’t put that bit of the conversation in the final edit. More pointed out how it’s extra raw for Angeria after the backlash to her winning All Stars 9 – with a lot of fans wanting Roxxxy to take the crown.

This post has caused a lot of conversation in the Drag Race fandom regarding this year’s iteration of The Pit Stop, hosted by Monét X Change. It’s not the first time Monét has been in drama for The Pit Stop this year, after a disagreement with All Stars 10 finalist Daya Betty after Daya called out Monét for saying on Sibling Rivalry that Daya was the worst guest she’d worked with on the show.
