Twitter and TikTok have been flooded with images of The Office’s BJ Novak with noneother than TikTok’s most notable actress, Delaney Rowe, but how much of it is actually true?

Besides a rumoured romance with his The Office co-star Mindy Kaling, BJ Novak has not been in many public relationships. That all seemed to change back in December of 2024 when people began speculating about a romantic connection to Delaney, a TikToker with 3 million followers on the app and over 241 million likes.

Are BJ Novak and Delaney Rowe dating?

Rumours first began to circulate at the end of last year when both BJ Novak and Delaney Rowe were spotted at the Bowery Hotel in New York City.

Four months later and the rumour mill is still in full production, with one person on Twitter claiming, “I just found out that BJ Novak is dating Delaney Rowe from tiktok and I have no one to talk about this with. Why did god curse me with the ability to process vast amounts of useless pop culture knowledge and not something useful, like how to do math?”

Though no juicy details were revealed, a source told PEOPLE that BJ Novak and Delaney Rowe are, in fact, dating. This is by no means a double confirmation, but they do follow each other on Instagram

Delaney Rowe was born in Boise, Idaho, before moving to Los Angeles to pursue her dream of becoming an actress. In her youth, she regularly took part in the Idaho Shakespeare Festival in the hopes of attending an elite drama school like Juilliard. Unfortunately, that never happened.

Delaney pivoted into private cheffing when he Hollywood dreams tanked, but during the pandemic, she launched her TikTok account where she usually posts POV videos about the archetypes we usually see in TV and film. For instance, her TikTok is full of POV’s from the “manic pixie dream girl” in indie movies to the “absolutely insufferable female lead.”

“By the way, I love these movies that I make fun of,” she told Who What Wear. “I love this archetype. I think it’s so fantastic, and it’s almost my homage to it rather than a parody.”

It’s definitely become her claim to fame, and though she is the best at what she does, you only need to watch a few before Delaney herself becomes the insufferable actress.
