Omg, Rupert Grint and Georgia Groome had another baby and her name is so cute

Rupert Grint (aka Ron Weasley from the Harry Potter films) and Georgia Groome (aka Georgia in Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging) have revealed they’ve had another baby.

Rupert Grint shared a super sweet photo of his new baby on Instagram, and announced her name is Goldie G. Grint. Nawwwwww. Her name is embroidered on her clothes. I guess babies of celebrities get personalised stash. He called her a “A 10/10 baby (so far)”.

He also thanked the obstetrician Alex Digesu for “always delivering”. We see what you did there.

Goldie is Rupert Grint and Georgia Groome’s second child. Their other daughter also has a quirky name: Wednesday. She was born in 2020. Rupert Grint did admit on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon that he named his child after The Addams Family character. He said: “”It’s a good name, isn’t it? I’m always hesitant to say it was The Addams Family, but it was, yeah, kind of The Addams Family. I’ve just always loved the name. It’s a good name. Memorable.” Fair enough.

We don’t know what the “G.” stands for in the girls’ names. Maybe it’s a nod to their mother’s name? Or maybe it’s just an initial? It’s a mystery.

Rupert Grint and Georgia Groome have been in a relationship since 2011 – around the time that Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 came out. The couple are usually very private about their relationship. Lots of people only registered the couple were together when Rupert Grint revealed Wednesday’s name on Instagram in 2020.
