All the Harry Potter icons on Cameo, ranked by the truly ridiculous amounts they charge
One star is charging over a £100
The Harry Potter movies contained loads of great actors who were deeply iconic on screen, then have done virtually nothing since for 10+ years. Luckily for them, through the power of Cameo, the Harry Potter cast can keep cashing in on their brief moments of fame for years to come! *Jazz hands*. Here are all the Harry Potter icons who are on Cameo, ranked by the mind-numbingly daft amounts of money they’ve been charging fans to read from a script for a minute.
11. Rohan Gotobed – £11.25
If you ever watched Snape and Harry’s mind-reading lessons, saw that tiny flashback with Snape at school, and thought, ‘I’d really like to pay the kid playing mini Sirius to make a four minute long video wishing my aunt happy birthday’, then today’s your lucky day!
10. Tolga Safer – £18.75
I have a philosophical question for you all. Does one count as a star of the Harry Potter movies if all they did was stand next to Viktor Krum in group scenes? He has quite a lot of positive reviews though, so amazingly some Harry Potter viewers are this invested.
9. Stan Yavenski – £33.75

So much time has gone into this backdrop

The actor who portrayed Viktor Krum looks so different now that I barely recognised him. But apparently lots of people do, because he has over a thousand positive reviews on Cameo.
8. Louis Cordice – £36.75
Er, remember how the Crabbe actor was arrested for having a cannabis farm in his room, and the filmmakers swapped in another Slytherin bully called Blaise? If you were particularly wowed by his minute or so of screen time, then you’re in luck!

7. Scarlett Hefner – £45
Yup, that’s the girl who played Pansy Parkinson in the last three movies, and yup, I had to Google that. She was also in The Vampire Diaries, which is probably why she feels she can charge that amount when her videos are only a minute long on average.
6. Josh Herdman – £60
Well, Slytherins are supposed to be the resourceful ones. The Gregory Goyle actor hasn’t done many films since Harry Potter, but he seem to be raking in cash through this Cameo side hustle.
5. Devon Murray – £74.25

Can we please all take a moment to talk about how JK Rowling’s only Irish character’s one personality trait is that he keeps causing explosions?!

The actor who played Seamus Finnigan charges a huge £74.25 per two minute video, which not going to lie feels a bit steep for a character whose only real contribution to the saga was to blow up a bridge with Neville.
4. Dan Fogler – £90
He played Jacob Kowalski, one of the few memorable characters in the extremely forgettable Fantastic Beasts filmed. I suppose a birthday message from him would be exciting for Fantastic Beasts fans (if there are any of those in existence).
=3. James Phelps – £93.75
Aka Fred Weasley, aka the twin who dies. He’s making an absolute killing on Cameo. He has by far the most reviews – over 2,000. As well as reading out generic birthday messages, James also drops random nuggets of behind-the-scenes Harry Potter lore upon request.
=3. Afshan Azad – £93.75

Er, Padma Patil is the girl who went to the Yule Ball with Ron and did pretty much nothing else in all eight movies. Yet the actor is charging £93.75 for Cameo videos which have an average length of 37 seconds.
2. Miriam Margolyes – £97.50
It feels a tad reductive to just refer to Miriam Margolyes as Professor Sprout. But believe it or not, she is on Cameo and charges less than I would have thought.
Her Cameo bio legit reads: “FAT old dyke (83 now) actress, rude. did WICKED on Broadway & London, Professor Sprout in HP, Nurse in ROMEO & JULIET. BLACKADDER. LEFTWING, hate BREXIT. Often on GRAHAM NORTON. Aussie.”
I feel that says it all.
1. Bonnie Wright – £150
It’s not surprising that the one and only Ginny Weasley is making a killing on Cameo. She has almost 500 very positive reviews. Her bio reads: “Bonnie is always happy to send heartwarming messages to young Muggles whose love for the Wizarding World inspires them to pursue their passions, whether it’s acting, writing, or even a career in magical healing.” It sounds like her acting in Cameo videos is a lot better than some of her, erm, more divisive performances in the Harry Potter movies.
