Nominations are now open for The Birmingham Tab’s BNOC 2025

Ladies and gentleman its the best holiday of the year. BNOC, or Big Name on Campus, is the best way to put your friend’s in the limelight this year, and its just as easy as spending too much in Selly Oak Aldi’s sweet treat aisle.

The BNOC is decided by Birmingham students themselves which makes this even more interesting. Who can I nominate, literally anyone? Vote for your nemesis in the sports night queue who won’t stop pushing, the person who takes too long to order from Starbies, the slow walker going onto campus when you’re late, your options are limitless!

Whilst dissertations are a big topic of conversation this type of year for the elderly third years, more important issues are at hand like the BNOC comp.

The deadline for nominations is Thursday 24th April at 2pm. All nominated candidates will be contacted via Instagram by the The Birmingham Tab’s editorial team so be certain to check message requests in anticipation.

You also don’t need to nominate a University of Birmingham student, you can nominate students from any universities in the city.
