A man is in hospital following a “serious assault” with a knife on Salisbury Road in Cathays.
The incident occurred last night (Tuesday, 25th February) at around 11:30pm near Gassy’s.
South Wales Police told The Cardiff Tab that the man in hospital has suffered serious injuries, and a police cordon still remains at the scene.
Three men have been arrested following the incident in Cathays, which a police spokesperson has called “a serious assault which is believed to have involved a knife”.
Students have also reported hearing a helicopter circling at this time.
