The internet’s hottest mystery right now is, of course, Montoya. If you haven’t seen the viral Spanish Temptation Island clip, Montoya has the biggest crash-out after having to watch his girlfriend cheat on him on a huge screen, to which he runs across the beach screaming at her to stop. The cinema is actually unmatched, but we know nothing about Montoya other than his dramatic appearance on Spanish Temptation Island. So, here’s a look inside Montoya’s wild life when he’s not crying “Anita, POR QUE?!”

Montoya is from Seville

Montoya, whose full name is José Carlos Montoya, is 30 years old and from Seville. He’s a model and it’s not the first time he’s been on Spanish television either. He’s a very well-known reality star in Spain and is the equivalent of being Love Island-level famous there.

He’s a flamenco dancer

Seville is the home of flamenco, so it makes sense that Montoya has picked up the regional dance. He’s certainly got the skill for it and it’s just further proof that he was destined for the screen. He posts a lot of content on his Instagram of his moves, and I personally recommend you check them out.

He has released two albums and has an amazing singing voice

Not only is he a phenomenal actor and dancer, but he’s also got two (2) TWO albums out on Spotify. In his singing days back in 2015, he went under the stage name D’Montoya. He’s definitely a man of musical passion.

He started dating Anita a year before they went on Temptation Island

Montoya and Anita, his 26-year-old girlfriend, started dating a whole year before they entered La Isla de Las Tentaciones, which is the Spanish version of the US show Temptation Island. They’ve had to be a long-distance couple since Anita lives in Barcelona, which is on the other side of Spain.

Before entering La Isla de las Tentaciones Montoya described himself as more traditional than his free-spirited girlfriend. However, they had hoped that by putting their relationship to the test, it would help them decide whether to take the next step together and have a baby. A big decision!
