‘Stop talking about me’: Davide finally speaks out as Ekin-Su appears on Love Island All Stars

Davide Sanclimenti did not hold back this week when an Instagram follower made an Ekin-Su joke, proudly posting that his ex-girlfriend should “stop talking about me” while she’s on Love Island All Stars.

Davide and Ekin-Su may have won season eight of Love Island in 2022, beating out the likes of Gemma Owen and Luca Bish, but like many winners before them, they separated soon after. Despite attempting a rekindling a few times, nothing stuck and Ekin-Su is now on ITV once again.

Though Davide has kept somewhat tight-lipped about her casting, that all stopped this weekend.

Davide says Ekin-Su needs to zip it on Love Island

Season two of Love Island All Stars is only a week in but Davide’s name has popped up a number of times as Ekin-Su discusses the trials and tribulations of season eight. He’s not impressed.

In a recent Instagram post that showed off a snowy location he is staying at, one of his followers joked: “Bro stay strong when she’s on TV kissing loads of wee boys.”

Though he could have easily ignored the comment, Davide responded with a cutting remark that suggested he doesn’t want to be name-dropped for the rest of the season.

“I really hope she does. At least she will leave me alone and stop talking about me once and for all,” he said.

Though some said that he had narrowly “dodged a bullet”, others defended his former flame with statements like: “@davidesancli To be fair to her she hasn’t been talking about you in the villa apart when she was asked by someone and she replied that she didn’t know or care what you were doing as that chapter in her life is over and she has moved on.”

“@davidesancli your ego is so fragile lmaoooooo,” another wrote.

This comes just a week after an insider alleged that Davide is frustrated with Ekin-Su because he expected her to refuse appearing on Love Island All Stars as he did.

“Davide is absolutely furious about Ekin-Su’s decision to join Love Island: All Stars. He feels like it’s a slap in the face, especially since he turned down the opportunity himself because it didn’t feel right,” the insider told Closer.

“They’re no longer together, but this has still hit a nerve for Davide. He feels like Ekin-Su’s decision shows a complete lack of emotional empathy; not just for him, but for everything they went through as a couple. He can’t believe she’d jump at the chance without considering how it might look.”
