Right, so what’s actually going on between Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster?!

Right, so it seems Hugh Jackman has seemingly confirmed things are official with his new girlfriend Sutton Foster after they were spotted walking hand in hand in pictures obtained by People.

But these two have known each other for years and there’s been various speculations about what is going on between them and for how long, so let’s get to the bottom of what exactly is going on between Hugh Jackman and his new girlfriend Sutton Foster.

The pair were very first pictured together in 2008 when they were spotted backstage at SHREK on Broadway and honestly that’s very iconic.

But it wasn’t until 2021 when the two started becoming closer friends after they were both cast in The Music Man on Broadway, with both Sutton and Hugh constantly gushing about how wonderful the other is.

Hugh Jackman complimented his now girlfriend Sutton Foster, telling her that she’s an “exceptional talent and friend.” Sutton also posted pictures of them together whilst walking the red carpet, writing: “This man. An honour to be by your side.”

Sutton later talked about her friendship with Hugh in an interview with Vogue, admitting: “He has an impeccable reputation of being the hardest working man, incredibly kind, and generous—and all of that is true.

“He disarms everyone, and he doesn’t make anything about him. And he’s now become one of my best friends, which was a surprise, because you usually go into these things thinking, Well, I hope we get along. But we just spent Memorial Day with our families. It’s really fun to meet new friends after 40.”

Then on September 15th 2023, Hugh and his wife of 27 years Deborra-lee Furness announced their separation, and released a statement to People: “We have been blessed to share almost 3 decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage.

“Our journey now is shifting and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth. Our family has been and always will be our highest priority. We undertake this next chapter with gratitude, love, and kindness.

“We greatly appreciate your understanding in respecting our privacy as our family navigates this transition in all of our lives.”

One year later, Sutton also filed for divorce from her husband, Ted Griffin, whilst a Page Six source claims she and Hugh are “100 per cent together and are in love and want to spend the rest of their lives together.”

As if that wasn’t dramatic enough, Us Weekly claimed that the growing romance between Hugh Jackman and his now girlfriend Sutton Foster was “the reason” he decided to file for divorce. The insider claimed: “Sutton and Hugh’s relationship is the reason Hugh and Deb got divorced.

“A lot of people on Broadway knew, and we kept it quiet because both of them are so nice and great people. Everyone respected their privacy. But there was an affair and overlap. They are really happy now.”

However, this has never been confirmed and as it stands there is zero proof there was ever an overlap between the two relationships.

But it seems that Hugh Jackman is “happier than ever” with his new girlfriend as Sutton Foster brings him “joy”, according to Us Weekly. And it seems like their dinner date yesterday only seems to confirm these two are officially a couple!
