Omg, Lisa Kudrow improvised this wild moment in Netflix’s No Good Deed

It made Lydia and Paul’s relationship so much juicer

The nation is all binging No Good Deed on Netflix. The show stars Lisa Kudrow and Ray Romano as a rich couple called Lydia and Paul. They’re trying to sell their fancy house and cover up a secret. And it gets really unhinged. The creator of Netflix’s No Good Deed, Liz Feldman, revealed to Buzzfeed that Lisa Kudrow and Ray Romano actually improvised loads of their scenes together. Yet another reason to love Lisa Kudrow.

Liz said, “To me, always some of the funniest stuff comes out when you let actors also go a little wild.”

Apparently, one key moment with Lisa Kudrow and Ray Romano in No Good Deed was totally improvised. In the show, Lydia is cooking in their fancy kitchen. She starts discussing the house with Paul, and things get kind of heated. Lydia sort of ends up waving a knife around the room.

Paul tells her, “Put the knife down.”

Lisa replies, “I”m just gesturing!”

“I know, but you’re all hyped up, so put the knife down,” Paul insists.

Lisa jokes, “Well, I’m not going to kill you!”

The whole thing is very much #darkcomedy. It shows things may a bit more, ahem, violent in the cosy household than we were led to beleive.

Liz Feldman explained, “There’s definitely some improv in the show, and also some moments that we found together, which are kind of my favorite moments. Like that whole thing with the knife.

“I was like, ‘We needed some sort of back and forth that just shows that there’s still a playful energy between these two people. It’s not just all stress all the time.”

She added, ” I love those moments, and sometimes those are the best ones. I mean, all of these actors are incredibly good at improv.”
