Here’s why the house in Netflix’s No Good Deed looks so incredibly familiar
This is where you’ve seen it before
Everyone is watching No Good Deed on Netflix, a new dark comedy that features Lisa Kudrow as the lead role.
It follows three families who are all competing to buy the same 1920s Spanish-style villa, and the home is a massive part of the series.
The unique house features in every episode as we discover the Morgans’ son Jacob was murdered there and uncover who did it.
If you’ve been sitting there thinking the home looks really familiar, you’re not the only one. Where have we seen it before?!
Well, the house isn’t actually in any other TV shows, but you probably recognise it because it looks really similar to the house in Modern Family.
The No Good Deed residence is a real house located in Hancock Park, Los Angeles, which is about a 20-minute drive southwest of Los Feliz.
Mitch and Cam’s house is located at 2211 Fox Hills Drive, Los Angeles, which is only a 15-minute drive from the No Good Deed house.
They’re pretty much in the same neighbourhood, which is why they have exactly the same style and architecture.
Both houses have a unique three-section design with an arched front door in the middle and navy blue windows on either side.
They both have the same white exterior too, and lots of greenery out the front.
We see Mitch and Cam’s house in the Modern Family opening credits, which is why it sticks in your mind so much.

These Spanish-style villas were built all across Los Angeles in the 1920s and 1930s, and a similar one was also used in Beverly Hills 90210.
That one’s located at 1675 E Altadena Drive which is over the other side of town, about a 30-minute drive from the No Good Deed house.
