Here are your 25 favourite artists, ranked by Spotify monthly listens
Number one was certainly surprising
Spotify Wrapped might still be a day away, but thanks to the platform’s statistics we already know which musical artists have the most monthly listeners.
Spotify Wrapped is your yearly reminder that you have either incredibly mainstream tastes or a vibe so chaotic that you can’t share it with anyone. Though you can technically view your statistics well in advance, including your habits of years gone by, you might choose to hold on for the full Wrapped experience later this week.
But don’t fret, while you wait you can see how your favourite musician ranks in terms of monthly listeners.
25. Calvin Harris – 61.06 million
24. Shakira – 62.34 million
23. Dua Lipa – 62.86 million
Dua Lipa is a mainstay of the official singles chart with notable songs like One Kiss, Houdini, New Rules, Dance The Night, and Illusion. It’s reasonable to say she will feature across many of our Spotify Wrappeds – when it eventually decides to show its face.
22. Maroon 5 – 63.55 million
21. Bad Bunny – 64.82 million
20. Kanye West – 65.88 million
When he’s not beefing with other celebrities or sharing often cryptic statements, Kanye West is widely regarded as one of the most successful rappers of all time with legendary tracks like Real Friends, Famous, Heartless, and Fade.
19. Kendrick Lamar – 69.47 million
18. Travis Scott – 70.02 million
17. Post Malone – 70.64 million
Post Malone’s sixth studio album F-1 Trillion came out earlier this year to rave reviews and Grammy predictions. If the killer tracks weren’t enough, the album was stacked with guests like Dolly Parton, Morgan Wallen, and Blake Shelton.
16. Sia – 71.59 million
15. SZA – 71.87 million
14. David Guetta – 72.87 million

13. Drake – 73.42 million
Drake has had a very controversial year, but as a three-time winner of Spotify’s most streamed artists, it doesn’t look like he’ll be going anywhere anytime soon.
12. Eminem – 75.24 million
11. Sabrina Carpenter – 76.71 million
10. Ed Sheeran – 82.07 million
9. Rihanna – 83.37 million
It’s been approximately 10,000 years since Rihanna last released music, and while we all love her Fenty beauty line and work in fashion, we need Riri to get back into that recording studio promptly. Give the people what they need.
8. Justin Bieber – 87.20 million
7. Coldplay – 88.95 million
6. Taylor Swift – 90.39 million
5. Ariana Grande – 95.74 million
2024 is Ariana Grande’s year, though ironically not in the music scene. Though she has kept on top of releasing new music, her eternal love for Wicked sparked one of the most highly rated films of the year. Just don’t forget your roots, Ariana.
4. Billie Eilish – 103.83 million
3. Lady Gaga – 110.33 million
2. The Weeknd – 117.72 million
1. Bruno Mars – 136.24 million
Though I’m not for a minute doubting Bruno Mars’ popularity, his place at number one was particularly surprising when you consider the giants he is beating by a huge margin.
