Finally, Adam has actually addressed the rumours he and Amy are dating after MAFS UK

Ever since MAFS UK came to an end, there have been rumours circulating about if Adam and Amy are dating. Adam broke things off with his show wife Polly, as did Amy with her groom Luke, and then the pair have been getting very cosy.

All of this started during partner swap week, when Adam was matched with Amy. She moved into his apartment, they shared a bed, and they went underwear shopping together. Then, at the reunion, Adam was asking Amy to defend him amid arguments with Polly.

After the show, Amy and Adam have been posting loved up looking photos together on Instagram. One even showed Adam getting down on one knee proposing, which of course sparked talks of a couple swap.

However now, Adam has finally addressed the rumours. He’s confirmed – sorry guys – they’re just friends. In a video of him cutting a BBC journalist’s hair (I don’t know why, either) he was asked about the chatter.

“Me and Amy, she’s like the female version of me. We’re so alike,” Adam said. “We both said to each other, yeah we find each other attractive. But, our friendship’s that good we’d never want to spoil that.” Adam went on to say he’s told Amy he would “always like to have you as a friend in my life” over the risk of it not working out and becoming nothing.

“I think me and Amy will be staying friends for, I’d like to think, the rest of my life,” he added. “She’s someone that I do trust. I feel like I can tell her anything.”

He then clarified: “There’s nothing romantic going on with me and Amy. We’re like best friends.” Adam also denied he and Amy have ever kissed before, and said he’s single right now.
