Amy speaks out about the state of her relationship with Luke after MAFS UK and it’s ruthless

I don’t think any of us were expecting a happily ever after for Amy and Luke following MAFS UK 2024. But Amy has spoken about their relationship since the show, and it’s more bleak than we ever could have imagined.

After weeks of sexual innuendoes, lies and not being an overall good match, everything came to an end for Amy and Luke in their final vows. She wished a big ol’ RIP to the relationship, and then he sent her a birthday gift signed off with a cute message for her bumhole. Nice.

Despite hoping Amy would wear the badge he got her to the reunion, Luke’s hopes were dashed when she showed up without it. Now, she’s said on Instagram they’re still not talking, and has opened up more about what the relationship was like. She said at times Luke felt “like a stranger” and that everything for him was “a performance.”

During an Instagram Q&A, Amy was asked if she and Luke still talk. “Absolutely not,” she said. “But I wish him all the best and hope he finds his person.”

She then opened up about her biggest regrets from the show, and said she did care for Luke and like him. She added: “I felt everything was just a performance to him and I really felt that with the cameras going off and on. One minute he was love sick, head over heels Romeo. As soon as the cameras were off he was like a stranger.

“I struggled as it made me feel uncomfortable and not genuine. I wish I’d realised earlier on that not everyone was in there to meet their forever person and in fact just to better themselves and go ‘viral’ on the internet.”

In a statement previously made to The Tab, Luke said: “The show has aired, and we’ve [himself and Amy] both shared our experiences on our own platforms. I believe it’s best to move forward with positive experiences from MAFS UK, and focusing on what’s ahead.”

Now, there are rumours Amy’s dating Nathan anyway!
