Cobra Kai season six part three: Release date, plot and questions it NEEDS to answer

The biggest battle is waiting for the finale to come out

Netflix dropped Cobra Kai season six part two last week and a whole load of bombshells with it. The show is heading towards the end, with part three concluding the story forever. Things are really starting to heat up between the dojos, but what will the final part mean for the story as a whole? Here’s everything we know about Cobra Kai season six part three, including the release date, any plot theories and the questions we were left with in part two that NEED to be answered. It’s going to be a chaotic ride!

Season six part three will be released on 13th February 2025

Cobra Kai fans will have to wait another three months before they can watch the final instalment, which drops on 13th February 2025. It will include five brand new episodes, and mark the very end of Cobra Kai for good.

What has the series creator, Jon Hurwitz, said about the finale?

Show creator Jon Hurwitz gave an exciting insight into the final five episodes, which he said not only “close out” Cobra Kai as a series but also dig “all the way back to the Karate Kid movies” which the show is based on.

“It’s a resolution for a lot of these characters and new beginnings for them as well in different ways. And it’s going to be a really fun, fulfilling final five episodes, I think, for fans of this franchise. If you’ve been a fan for just a few years now, or if you’ve been a fan for 40 years, you’re in for a real treat in the final five.”

The questions the finale NEEDS to answer

As season six part three will mark the end of the series for good, there are some serious plot points we need clearing up. The first one is the huge effect of Kwon’s death and how it will affect the martial arts community. People are going to be questioning whether karate is still safe, and there’s a risk that dojos will close because of it. The future of the Sekai Taika tournament will also become uncertain now.

We also can’t end the series without resolving the John Kreese vs. Terry Silver arc. They absolutely must get a chance for redemption, especially after their fight at the end of season six, part two.

The biggest mystery of them all to me is Miyagi. Daniel already found out that Miyagi killed someone turning the Sekai Taikai before, but there will be so much more to discover about his life in Japan, his part in the Second World War and what he did in America after. It will change everything Daniel thinks about him!
