MAFS UK has received over 200 Ofcom complaints regarding bullying

MAFS UK has been hit with over 200 Ofcom complaints regarding bullying behaviour in scenes that aired last week, when Holly and Hannah clashed on the mini reunion Girls’ Night. The show has been explosive nearly the whole time, but it was this clash that really tipped viewers over the edge as things went too far between the two who have never seen eye to eye ever since Hannah joined the cast as an Intruder bride.

The Ofcom complaints came in after MAFS UK stars Hannah and Holly instantly started arguing during the Girls Night, which functioned as a mini reunion before the big reunion episodes this week and the upcoming Christmas reunion. Holly was married to Alex on the show, and Hannah with Stephen – but that quickly soured and Hannah ended up sharing a kiss with Orson who had also had a bad time on the show with his match Richelle.

During the trip away a few weeks prior, Holly and Polly had clashed with Hannah and deemed her behaviour as flirtatious with other grooms – including Ryan, who was married to Sionainn. When Hannah turned up to Girls Night, Holly instantly said “Look what the cat’s dragged in.

“How many husbands have you run off with since leaving the experiment?” Holly fired at Hannah. Holly then kept bombarding Hannah with the question: “How many are you linked with?” Visibly upset, Hannah then said: “Honey I am not going to be spoken to like sh*t.”

It has now been revealed that this clash received 237 Ofcom complaints, as MAFS UK viewers were so unhappy with the way Holly treated Hannah during this moment.

On Twitter / X, viewers shared “Holly….. wow. Disgusting vile behaviour. What girl code does she have then? Who does she actually think she is!? She’s an actual mother talking to another woman like that on TV.

“Hannah literally owes them nothing. My anger could NOT deal with this,” fumed one.

Another then added, “Why did no one from the crew step in and remove Holly from that situation?! The way she’s spoke to and treated Hannah is vile..”

It’s been an explosive series, but this was definitely the hardest bit to watch.
