The MAFS UK reunion certainly delivered on the drama last night, with almost everyone getting a word in one way or another, but there were a few notable cast members who were missing from the episode last night. Alex, Eve and Richelle were all absent from the MAFS UK 2024 reunion, but what do we know about why they weren’t there? As for Alex, according to The Sun, he did not attend any of the filming that took place for the MAFS UK reunion episodes, however, it’s not clear exactly why he didn’t decide to show up.

A source told The Sun: “Alex didn’t film either of the two reunion episodes, which seemed really odd to the rest of the cast.

“It was unclear whether it was Channel 4’s decision or his own, but there was a lot of chatter about it amongst the brides and grooms who expected him to be there with his ex, Holly.”

As for Eve, she certainly caused her fair share of drama whilst on MAFS, but now she’s got a new girlfriend and despite producers “hoping” she’d come back to film, she “refused to.”

A source told The Sun: “Producers were really hoping Eve would return for the reunion episodes to give some closure to her rocky relationship with Charlie and reflect on what went wrong.

“But she refused to film and hasn’t been in touch with show bosses or the rest of the cast since. Eve clearly wants to move on from the show but it’s a shame she didn’t return to reflect on everything, especially after viewers were invested in her and Charlie’s journey.”

As for what Charlie thinks about her absence, she admitted that in her opinion Eve “should never have signed up for the show in the first place” so there’s that!
