The Tab is hiring a trainee Social Executive to join our HQ
We’re looking for a social media obsessed grad for this two-year trainee role – applications open now
The Tab is looking for a Junior Social Executive to create content for The Tab’s network of social media accounts. This is a two-year trainee role for an ambitious grad who wants hands-on experience. You should be a self-starter and excited to get your teeth sunk into a career in social media.
The Tab is a global news site covering youth culture and entertainment, with 8M+ readers a month. We cover everything from Netflix to politics, as well as dominating uni campuses all over the UK. The Tab is part of Digitalbox Plc – the growing media company behind Entertainment Daily!, TV Guide, The Poke, The Daily Mash, Emmerdale Insider, Royal Insider, and Reality Shrine.
In this role, you will be numbers-driven and creative – we are looking for someone who is chronically online and lives for pop culture and reality TV. We’re looking for someone to create content that showcases our journalists’ stories and massively grow our audiences across several platforms.
This person will primarily work across our network of Facebook pages, creating picture and video content, ensuring growth, and contributing ideas and insights to our social media team. You will also have the opportunity to work across TikTok, Instagram and Reddit. You’ll join a team of 12 journalists, creating daily content for our accounts, working directly with our Audience Development Editor.
This role is open to grads who’ve finished their degree within the last two years. This role is remote, but you must be willing to commute to our East London office at least twice a month for team days.
