Inside Ciaran’s TikTok now he’s home from Love Island and trying to use the internet
‘Anyone knows to use this app, let me know’
Ciaran was always the most wholesome guy in the Love Island villa in this year’s 2024 season, and now he’s finding a new way for us all to love him by being iconically hopeless at TikTok. It’s kind of a rite of passage that when Love Islanders come home from their time in the Love Island villa they have to crack on ASAP to build an iconic social media presence we care about, and Ciaran is one of the more endearing attempts as he navigates TikTok for the first time ever. Everyone is obsessed with what he’s posting because, if I’m being real, he’s just sort of doing any old shit. Not one bit of it feels interesting, but that complete mundane approach is what makes it so compulsive. I’m kind of obsessed. Ciaran from Love Island on TikTok has somehow usurped BeccaEatsEverything as my soothing comfort watch.
Here’s why.
His first ever TikTok is just him in an alley
@ciaranndaviess First ever tiktok, no clue how to use it, stepping out getting ready for tonight
Start as we mean to go on: Ciaran starts his TikTok adventure just in some alley. He’s with Nicole, and Jessica and Ayo. “What’s happening TikTok. Never used this app. Dunno what the f*ck is happening,” He starts. It’s sweet. “Them two over there making TikToks, got this absolute stunner there she’s just on Instagram. Anyone knows how to use this app, let me know. Cheers.”
Ciaran comes back on with a mundane update of the lot of them in the car. “Off to do a bit of shopping now. Getting out now, doing a bit of shopping, getting ready for tonight.” It’s edge of your seat stuff.

“First ever day in Lodnon”, he captions it. And no, not a typo from my end. It’s all sweet though, you can tell he’s just living his dream big time. You can see the finalists all vibing and doing some shopping and having pictures with fans.
His first proper date night with Nicole
Okay, we’ve come a long way since the first TikTok because this one is actually functional. I feel like a proud dad. He’s got music, he’s got the camera angles – we’re rocking and we’re rolling. I still need him to bring back the endearing chatting content, though. That’s where he thrives.
