A rundown of where all the I’m A Celeb campmates went to uni

I guess Nigel Farage must have gone to the University of Life

| UPDATED

The campmates of I’m A Celeb 2023 weren’t always celebs on the scale of somewhat famous to household name, they were once of university age and presumably had to start making plans for a career of some kind before they hit the big time. Or the medium time, depending on who we’re on about. Here’s a quick rundown of where all the I’m A Celeb cast for the 2023 season went to university.

Josie Gibson – Didn’t go

Josie was 25 when she went on Big Brother and became the Channel 4 era’s final winner. She didn’t go to uni as far as I can find – before Big Brother she worked in financial sales.

Marvin Humes – Didn’t go

Marvin joined what would go on to be JLS when he was just 19, and didn’t go to uni.

Nigel Farage – Didn’t go, but went to fancy boarding school Dulwich College

“”””Man of the people””””” Nigel Farage did not go to uni. He went to a private boarding school in London called Dulwich College.

Sam Thompson – Didn’t go, but went to fancy boarding school Bradfield College

Like Farage, posh boy Sam Thompson never went to uni but did attend the very fancy Bradfield College boarding school in Berkshire until he was 18. It’s one of those schools fancy enough that it has its own Wikipedia page of famous alumni, so you can imagine for yourselves how much it might cost to go there.

Tony Bellew – Didn’t go

Tony was winning amateur boxing titles at 21. He didn’t go to uni!

Danielle Harold – Didn’t go, but almost went to Cambridge

Danielle nearly went to the University of Cambridge, having a look around it and loving it but ultimately pursued acting instead. She went on a show called Jamie’s Dream School, and credits Jamie Oliver for helping her start her acting pursuits.

Nick Pickard – Corona Theatre School

Fred Siriex – Honorary degree from University of West London

Fred trained as a chef in France, but got an honorary degree from the University of West London in 2014.

Nella Rose – University of Leicester

Before she got her viral fame that got her into the I’m A Celeb jungle, Nella went to the University of Leicester where she graduated with a 2:1 in sociology.

Frankie Dettori – Honorary doctorate from Anglia Ruskin

Frankie’s been a jockey all his life, but did get an honorary doctorate of science from Anglia Ruskin University in 2011.

Jamie Lynn Spears – Didn’t go

Considering her sister is literally Britney Spears, Jamie Lynn never went to uni – she was in Zoey 101 before she was even of university age. Nepo baby, some might say.

Grace Dent – University of Stirling

Grace Dent studied at University of Stirling in Scotland, where she graduated in English Lit.
