These are officially the most eligible dates of 2023, according to Tatler
One of them has a pet lion?!
It’s cuffing season again, and Tatler is back with its 2023 “Little Black Book” of the most eligible people to date right now. Inevitably, the toff-heavy list is filled with royals and socialites— but there’s a couple of sportsmen and a Durham student in there too.
So, in case you’re done with Hinge and plan on taking your search for love to private member’s clubs, the home counties, or the Chelsea and Fulham area, here are Tatler’s top ten most eligible dates of 2023 to keep an eye out for on your next night out:
Princess Olympia of Greece
Up first is Greek princess Olympia of Greece who not only has the most perfect it-girl blonde bob I’ve ever seen but has also mastered the art of the Instagram photo dump better than Dua Lipa. Olympia is a model and seems to spend most of her time between London, New York, Greece and Ibiza and is followed by the best of the fashion girlies: Alexa Chung, Camille Charriere, Sofia Richie, etc. She’s also rumoured to be having an affair with the chef Thomas Straker, who declined to comment on the alleged relationship.
Cruz Beckham
Marrying into the Beckham family would basically make you British royalty. So, it makes total sense that David and Victoria’s 18-year-old son Cruz has made his way onto this list. His sense of style is giving definite Justin Bieber energy, and he often shares pictures from recording studios. So, an album could be coming soon??
Baroness Charlotte Owen of Alderley Edge
Most Read
Yes, Alderley Edge of Real Housewives of Cheshire fame has a 30-year-old Baroness called Charlotte, who made history last year after winning a seat in the House of Lords as the UK’s youngest ever peer. A lot of people questioned Boris Johnson’s decision to put his former aide in the position: “the sum total of her achievements would barely stretch to the full 280 characters of a tweet,” Prospect claimed. Yikes.
Henry Russell, Marquess of Tavistock
18-year-old Henry is heir to the dukedom of Bedford and is going to inherit a humungous 22-bedroom gaff in Bedfordshire called Woburn Abbey, where there’s a safari park, a 250-painting art collection and a miniature railway. Allegedly Henry is still quite down to earth and zips aorund in a Toyota truck. Okay!
Freya Aspinall
Freya is the daughter of the conservationist Damian Aspinall, who Tatler called “society’s own Dr Doolittle”. His 21-year-old daughter, apparently, is similarly obsessed with wildlife and is “happiest” when with her “gorilla family” (?!) or her lion cub called Zemo. Maybe she should just date Henry and hang out with the giraffes at his safari park?
Marcus Rashford
He’s been called the Prince of England before and we’ll happily say it again. Tbh, Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford should be top of this list after helping to raise £20million for a charity which provides free meals for children. Plus, you know, look at his arms. Just saying.
Faridah Folawiyo
Faridah is the 30-year-old daughter or the Nigerian mogul Tijani Folawiyo and entrepreneur Reni Folawiyo. She grew up in Lagos, studied at Princeton and now lives in London where she’s a regular at antique auction houses like Sotheby’s and Christie’s. AS well as having this incredible glam sense of style, she’s like super duper intelligent and wrote her dissertation on post-war photography in Lebanon.
Carl Ross
Carl is the vibey 20-year-old son of the telecoms tycoon David Ross and is currently studying music at Durham, which is unsurprising given he grew up with an opera house in his back garden. Casual! Apparently, he charms dates with his skills on the piano and a bowl of carbonara. And, if this picture has anything to go by, shares a wardrobe with his dad.
Lady Venetia Baring
Venetia might be the coolest person on this list. She’s 25, has bright red hair, is a model for brands like Sports Direct and is the daughter of the Earl of Cromer. She has a house in Fulham with this vibey Smeg fridge but also can retreat to her family’s massive country pile, Drayton Court, in Somerset when London is getting too much. Jel, tbh.
Henry Arundell
Unsurprisingly, a rugby boy has made it onto this list and he basically has the most symmetrical face I’ve ever seen. Before becoming an international sport star, 21-year-old Henry went to Harrow and was recruited to play for the London Irish when he was 14, which is unsurprising considering he was head of athletics, and head of house. You’ve probably seen edits of him kicking a ball about all over your TikTok ForYouPage.
