This is what Lancs Uni building the Sex Education season four characters would be
Maeve is so the Ruskin Library #mysterious
The final season of Sex Education brought laughter, tears, and a heck of a lot of sexual frustration. It’s been out for just over a month, and I can guarantee that the entire Lancaster population and its mum are still going through the emotional turmoil of Maeve and Otis’ relationship, and the cringeworthy debacle of Otis vs. O (side note: If you’re not team O, I don’t want to know you). Given the unbelievable cultural significance of this final season, we thought the best way to commemorate its impact would be to liken the characters to Lancs Uni buildings, that is, after all, the ultimate life goal of every actor ever.
Maeve – The Ruskin Library
I don’t think this one needs much explaining. Nobody has any clue what’s going on inside The Ruskin, nor does anybody know what’s going on inside Maeve’s head. She puts up a front, but everyone knows the outside doesn’t match the inside, and only a special few get to experience her inner thoughts, much like the privileged few who get to enter The Ruskin.
Otis – Bowland Tower
The illusive Bowland Tower. Everyone knows it’s there, it practically screams its presence in your face, and all you want to do is shout at it to leave you alone. Otis, much like Bowland Tower, thinks he’s way more important than he is, but we all know if it were a popularity contest, Otis and Bowland Tower would come in last.
O – County Main
Loved by some, disliked (strongly) by others, but there’s no denying she’s got a lot going for her. County Main’s modern seminar rooms, courtyard, and accommodation, mirror O’s own diversity. It’s safe to they both have a lot more to them than meets the eye.
Most Read
Abbi – The New Management School
Abbi is authentically who she is, and she makes sure you know it. She’s loud, she’s proud, and she stands up for what she thinks is right. Much like the new part of the Management School, there’s no denying it stands out, but do you see it saying sorry for that? No, and rightly so. Abbi and the Management School represent the positive changes for the future, and we are here for it.
Roman – Chaplaincy
Much like Abbi, Roman is unapologetically himself. One of the most wholesome characters in the show, Roman, like the Chaplaincy, believes in himself, accepts that he stands out, and embraces it. Everyone is welcome to go to him for support, and he will support you whatever you need. We love Roman. We also love the Chaplaincy.
Aisha – Sports Centre
Let’s say it. Aisha is a queen. She slays all day, every day. I think it’s safe to say the Sports Centre does… in its own special way. Open to everything, Aisha and the Sports Centre accept you for who you are, but they’re there to help you become the version of you that you want to be. They’re modern, they’re chic, they slay.
Eric – LICA
Just like LICA, Eric is theatrical. Just like LICA, Eric is over the top. Just like LICA, Eric is surrounded by a moat-like river with a cute bridge. Okay, maybe not that last one, but you get the point – they have a lot of similarities. Eric and LICA hype you up when you’re happy, and console you when you’re down. There’s always a cosy spot to take haven in LICA, and you know you can rely on Eric for that same, comfortable feeling.
Aimee – The Library
Aimee is full of knowledge that you never even knew existed. She’s here to help you learn more, fortify the knowledge you already have, and we just know she would cultivate and grow Norma and those plant walls like they were her own children.
Jackson – LEC
Tough on the outside, Jackson puts up a facade that nothing and nobody can break him, but we know that inside there is something deeper, more emotional. Much like the atrium, Jackson’s character grew and developed into something strong and inspiring.
Ruby – Barker House Farm
We don’t think this one needs explaining. Ruby is stunning, Barker is also stunning. Ruby is as good on the inside as she is on the inside, and so is Barker. Ruby is there for you, Barker is there for students. It’s fun, it’s exciting, and has more to offer than you think at first glance.
