Inside the four upcoming ‘Take Me Home’ Sims 4 packs, and the new base game update

My bank account is weeping

| UPDATED

The Sims team has just announced the roadmap for May to June of 2023, and they’ve told us that we’re getting four new packs and a huge base game update to keep us fed over the summer months. But what are these packs going to be? Details are under wraps right now, but what we do know is that the upcoming Sims 4 packs are titled Take Me Home, which has us thinking this will be themed around home and your home’s surroundings. Don’t be expecting game packs or expansions, we’re looking at four little kits here!

The four kits are teased with moving boxes. One of them has a hoodie over it, so maybe an off-duty style CAS pack is incoming featuring the kind of clothes you lounge around your home with. One box is covered in books – if I was to hazard a guess I’d say some form of like, study or office kit? I like the study stuff we have in game but I think we could go all out with a kit and we haven’t had anything like that before.

One has a plant and what looks, but obviously isn’t, a door stopper dripping in honey. Honestly, I couldn’t even hazard a guess at what this is. The whole Take Me Home Sims 4 theme is giving retro, with deep green and brown floral colours – I’d assume all go the packs coming have a retro theme?

As well as the actual kits, the game is getting a “hot” update – summer vibes, perhaps? Considering the months that are coming it would make sense if we get more scorching summer moments in the base game. Stay tuned for more content and kits updates over the next few weeks as the info gets leaked!
