Events Editor:

The Events Editor is responsible for assisting the Culture Editor, India Doyle with acquiring and editing reviews and previews of events and coordinating reviewers. 

Theatre Editor:

The Threatre Editor is responsible for assisting the Culture Editor, India Doyle with acquiring and editing reviews and previews of plays and performances and coordinating reviewers. 

Film Editor:

The Film Editor is responsible for assisting the Culture Editor, India Doyle with acquiring and editing reviews  of films and coordinating reviewers. 

Music Editor:

The Music Editor is responsible for assisting the Culture Editor, India Doyle with acquiring and editing reviews and previews of Music events and albums and coordinating reviewers. 

Reviewers:

Within each of the above sections we are also looking for three reviewers. The Stand‘s reviewers receive press access to events and shows in St Andrews and further afield. To be considered for what is probably one of the coolest jobs in St Andrews, you must also send in a sample review. (Editors will also be able to act as reviewers)

 

How to apply:

Applications should be sent to [email protected] by Monday, 7th May at 4pm. 

Please include in your application:

  • What your year of study will be for 2012/2013
  • A cover letter telling us why you want to work for The Stand, why you’re qualified for the job, and any relevant experience you’ve had
  • Any new ideas you would bring with you to The Stand
  • Any other activities/time commitments you may have
  • Anything else you think we ought to see/know about you (e.g. writing samples, baby pictures, life stories, etc.)

If you’d like to be involved with The Stand but don’t want to commit to an official position, please click our ‘Send Us a Story’ button up top and send us something you’ve written, or email one of our section editors and get involved!
