A Pryzm clubber accused of stabbing was ‘wild and obsessed’

The stabbing happened on the May Bank Holiday

A nightclubber who stabbed five people in eight minutes in May as described to a jury was "wild and obsessed".

Judah Chilink, aged 19, denies five counts of wounding with intent and one of having a bladed article in public on May 6th 2019.

Prosecutors said police officers were called to an area outside Pryzm at 3:50 am.

"They had received a number of 999 calls from very distressed and shocked members of the public reporting that a man was running amok, slashing and stabbing people in the street".

One of the people who was injured had sever internal injuries and needed 60 units of blood during surgery.

Prosecutor, Graham Hutson said "it is not an exaggeration to say he nearly died as a result of a stab wound".

Another victim was stabbed in both thighs and a female victim had injuries to both knees which needed stitching. Another man needed 10 stitches in a cut wrist and three in an elbow injury whist his brother suffered cuts to an arm and leg.

Hutson told the court that Chilink had been in Pryzm that night and made a remark which suggested he had a knife.
