The 35th Norwich Beer Festival Starts Today!

Calling all students that are fed up of downing dirty pints at pre-drinks – it’s time for a change of scenery!

| UPDATED

The Norwich and Norfolk Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) is hosting the 35th annual Norwich Beer Festival at St. Andrews and Blackfriars’ Halls from October 29th to November 3rd 2012.

A vast range (i.e. more than the UFO) of traditional beers, ciders and perries will be available, including over 200 cask-conditioned Real Ales from Britain’s independent brewers.

Although as students we like to think of ourselves as alcohol connoisseurs, you can put your knowledge to the test by attending tutored tastings hosted by experts at the festival (because binge drinking on a Thursday doesn’t count as real expertise).

The festival will also feature entertainment from the Norfolk locals (if you can bear it), including the Sheringham Shantymen and the Norwich Ukulele Society.

Ticket prices and opening times can be found on the CAMRA website.
