Paramedic in hazmat suit filmed entering Oak House
An ambulance was parked near Squirrels
Someone in a hazmat suit has been filmed entering Oak House today, believed to be visiting a student in Beech Court.
A spokesperson for the University confirmed the student was “not at risk” of coronavirus.
The full video can be seen on The Manchester Tab Instagram story. It shows the person in the hazmat leaving an ambulance parked near Squirrels and entering the accommodation.
The clip is already doing the rounds on group chats. One first-year described the footage as “peak.”
A spokesperson for the University of Manchester told The Manchester Tab: “Paramedics attended the scene following a 111 call. Having examined the resident they are content that the person in question is not at risk of coronavirus. Ambulance staff have now left the site.”
This is a breaking story. We will update with more information as we learn more.
