Live crab spotted getting off Manchester train

He was not available for comment

Passengers on the Sunday evening Cross Country Trains service from Manchester Piccadilly got a shock when they discovered a live crab crawling through the D carriage of the train.

Just on his way to work nbd

There is no indication of where the crustacean had travelled from or what his intentions were in Gloucestershire.

Dan Baker was the first to notice.

Bethany Jenkins, 17 claimed nobody knew where the crab had come from or how it had managed to get on the train.

She said, “It was just crawling through the D carriage and people were quite shocked and making jokes”.

When the train stopped at Cheltenham Spa, some of the crab’s fellow passengers picked it up and put it on the platform, where a conductor soon removed it from the station.

Unfortunately the crustacean in question could not be found for comment.
