Ben MarshallA new branch of Almost-Famous Burger has been opened on Deansgate.
You can almost smell the heart attack
The deep fryers and griddles burst into action on Thursday evening, when a launch party was held for the first customers.
Last June saw the original Northern Quarter restaurant destroyed by fire.
But according to owners, the Deansgate location was already being planned before the inferno.
“It’s going to be a burger wonderland”, said owner Beau Myers.
There were several giveaways held in the days before the opening, including free bacon butties and even samples of the almost- famous sauce.

As if that weren’t enough, the original branch in NQ will also be reopening at some point in the next month
“We needed a new roof, but I’m hoping it might all be ready by mid-December”, Beau confirmed.
So rejoice Mancs, your favourite place to load up on cholesterol and greasy goodness has returned.
