University of Greenwich tops all London unis for student experience

The uni came in ninth in the country and first in London based on StudentCrowd reviews

University of Greenwich has been ranked number nine on StudentCrowd’s UK University League Table & Rankings 2022, finishing in front of all London unis. It also came in first on a separate ranking called Best Universities in London 2022.

The rankings are decided by reviews of “campus, facilities, clubs, societies, students union, careers service, internet & wifi” by “students who have actually studied, or are still studying, at each university.”

Uni of Greenwich averaged a little over four stars out of five for both the nationwide and London rankings. And according to StudentCrowd, it is recommended by 99.8 per cent of current or former students.

The “most helpful review” on the site raved about the “wonderful experience to study and work” at the uni and commended it for giving the student “an edge in the job search.”

The uni’s Vice-chancellor, Professor Jane Harrington, said: “The fact that these awards are judged solely on the reviews of our students makes them really special to us. We are absolutely over the moon to be named top of the list of Best London Universities.

“It’s real testament to the hard work and commitment of all our staff in supporting students and doing everything they can to ensure their time with us is positive and rewarding.”

UCL, KCL, LSE, and Imperial are all ranked below the top 20 for the UK table and top 3 for the London table.
